Open every day, you'll find welcoming cafes offering delicious, seasonal food, light bites and sweet treats at our garden centres in Shelley and Birchencliffe.
Our seasonal menus are designed around local, market-fresh ingredients wherever possible and always UK sourced. Our fish and seafood is always responsibly sourced and we work with award winning local businesses, including local butchers, bakers and farms, to bring you a choice of delicious, hot dishes, soups and puddings.
You will also find favourites on the menu including tasty paninis, sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes. Our cafes naturally offer family friendly facilities including high chairs, food warming, easy pram access and baby changing as well as small portions of the day's fresh dishes or our kid's pick n mix lunchboxes, served in a seed tray with free "fun to grow" seeds!
Our commitment to the environment ensures we locally source all ingredients where possible, including a choice of Yorkshire or Holmfirth Tea, use only fair-trade coffee and sugar plus free-range eggs. We also compost our organic waste, recycle all glass bottles and use chemical free cleaning products.
Both cafes belong to the deliciouslyorkshire breakfast scheme, committed to offering breakfasts boasting at least 5 ingredients from God's own county! We also have a 5-star rating with the Kirklees Scores On The Doors food hygiene inspection system.
Our cafes are open daily as follows:
Monday to Saturday: 9.30am to 5pm
Sunday: 10am to 4.30pm with Sunday lunch
served from 12-3PM
Please note that during January and February 2012 as part of our winter opening times, Seasons Cafes at each centre will close at 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
