We're growing with Joe at Armitage's

Armitage's have teamed up with renowned gardener, horticulturist, author and presenter, Joe Maiden, for a series of FREE workshops in March, April and May.

One of the north of England’s most popular gardeners popping up on TV and heard weekly on Joe Maiden BBC radio Leeds, Joe Maiden has been growing his own produce since he was a lad and will be at Armitage's to share his tricks of the trade to help you get growing.

"Joe is such a respected and knowledgeable horticulturist with so much to share with people who want to have a go at growing their own." Said William Armitage. "Our workshops with Joe will hopefully give lots of people useful ideas and practices, plus the confidence to grow their own produce."

Joe is a committee member of Leeds Horticultural Society, Vice Chairman of the West Yorkshire branch of the National Vegetable Society, and President of the Adel Horticultural Society. He gives talks to hundreds of groups and clubs and now runs his garden nursery, Cliff Bank Nursery, which is open to the general public and located at North Rigton which is just off Harrogate Road, Huby, near Harrogate.
