Renowned florist Ian Lloyd inspired those who joined him at Armitage's Garden Centres with
wonderful ideas for decorating your home with flowers this Christmas.
The florist found fame earlier this year as part of duo Floral Highnotes when he and partner Helena Leonard took to the stage with their original act alongside now famous names including Susan Boyle in ITV's Britain's Got Talent.
But Ian Lloyd was nothing but grounded, witty and informative as he shared his floristry secrets with audiences at morning, afternoon and evening events at our Birchencliffe Garden Centre on Thursday the 12th of November and our Pennine Garden Centre on Thursday the 19th November.
Ian Lloyd demonstrated a step by step guide to creating several impressive displays of varying
complexity, but all achievable and affordable as we approach the festivities. One customer who attended one of the the Birchencliffe events was so impressed, she has written to say 'Thank you one and all for a wonderful event at a reasonable cost.'
"Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the morning, afternoon and evening events." Said William Armitage, director at Armitage's Garden Centres. "The customer's comments are fantastic and we have raised lots of money for charity in the process."
At the evening events, the fabulous displays were auctioned off and raised over £400 for local charity the Kirkwood Hospice.
Ian Lloyd has his own shop, The Flower Shop, in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
