This year Armitage’s has once again scooped up awards following the Garden Centre Association’s annual standards audit of 160 GCA Logo garden centres throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Armitage's Pennine Garden Centre at Shelley and Birchencliffe Garden Centre have been be recognised at a prestigious level with both centres being awarded Highly Commended Garden Centre status by the GCA.

The Pennine Garden Centre was highly praised and achieved Merit for its Indoor Lifestyle, Staff and Garden Centre Entrance and the Birchencliffe Garden Centre was highly praised and achieved merit status for its Staff, Catering and Telephone Survey.

The annual audit measures members against numerous criteria including range of products and services, signage, facilities for the disabled, visual merchandising, staff and safety.
