Today was an exciting day for little Oscar Fenik as he came to Armitage’s Birchencliffe Garden Centre with big brother George to collect his Mumbles Magazine competition prize.
Little Oscar correctly guessed that a pumpkin is a fruit, not a vegetable, and was drawn as the
winner of the Keen to be Green competition in the Spring 2010 issue of Mumbles Magazine. He won prizes worth more than £60 including a range of Yeo Minis gardening tools plus seeds from the Suttons ‘fun to grow’ range and a raised bed to get his green fingers growing!
“Congratulations to Oscar,” said Birchencliffe centre manager Andrew Tyers. “We hope he enjoys planting up his seeds and using the mini tools in his new plot!”
Armitage’s Garden Centres are delighted to be working with Mumbles magazine to bring you lots of gardening ideas on the keen to be green pages.
